Requisitioning Process Highlights

• Shopping cart style requisitioning of items from a vendor catalogue.
• Items can be requested using a free-form request (i.e. request for a new computer).
• Generation of export files for Ministry and Government reporting.
• Users are required to enter the GL which will trigger a budget check.
• Submitted requisitions are immediately written into SRB core POM product.
• Approval requests can be routed based on the dollar amount directly to a purchaser or to a principal/supervisor.
• Requisition can be automatically approved for low dollar requests.
• Free-form requisitions will automatically go to the purchasing department for review.
• Once a request is approved, the PO Create program will be triggered which will convert the requisition
  (in POM) into a purchase order (in BAS). This program can also be given to selected users on their web menu.
•  The email/fax utility will send out the PO to the vendor.

Additional Features

• Requisitions requiring purchasing department intervention will be processed completely within the core POM module.
• Requisitions can also be cancelled if the PO has not been issued.
• An inquiry web page will display the requisition details, approval status and PDF copy of PO.
• SRB can acquire the vendor catalogues with associated pricing and item graphics on behalf of the customer.
