10-Digit Dialing for BC & Alberta Coming June 2008

After September 8-12, 2008, you won’t be able to make 7-digit local calls, but will have to dial the area code in front of the 7-digit phone number. To help customers prepare, the industry is phasing in a "permissive dialing period" from June 23-28.
