We have now completed changes to the OPS system to accommodate defining multiple Override Salary Grids per payroll. This relates to field 44=OVERRIDE SALARY GRIDS under 4,1,5 Users Specific Parameters Profile.

You can now enter up to seven override salary grids per payroll. You can also define an override salary grid using the wild carding character ?. For example, override grid ??0101 would mean all salary grids with 0101 in the 3rd to 6th position, regardless of the first two characters, would be considered override salary grids.

Example: 999999,??0101,

Any function line that has a salary grid that matches one of the override salary grids will not be adjusted by any of the salary grid options as before with the single Override salary grid. When no changes are made to the existing Override Salary Grid parameter, the original override salary grid will work as before.

This feature was developed through the Manager Forums and at the time it was deemed to be needed by some sites immediately. If you would like to have this feature installed on your payrolls right away, please email Susan or submit a request via our website at www.tscsoftware.com.

Please note that your payrolls must be running on OPS Version 9.05 in order to have these new feature installed. The current version of your OPS is shown on the top of an OPS menu.
