TSC has now completed the changes to the ROE system to accommodate the new 53-week Web ROE version as well as the new HRDC Import XML file (send back the ROE numbers assigned per employee).  These changes to your systems will be installed on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 throughout the day. The installation of these changes will not impact on your regular payroll functions and will only impact on the ROE area.  You may notice we have now changed all references of UIC to EI through OPS.

Please note that these changes do require the existing Preliminary and Final ROE files to be converted to make room for the full 53 weeks of insurable earnings.  This conversion will happen automatically the very first time someone accesses any of the ROE processes, per payroll.  A message will display that states:

One Moment Please
Preliminary ROE File Conversion In Progress
Do NOT Interrupt This Process

This conversion should only take at most 4 or 5 minutes.  Please do not interrupt this process.
