Whats New Newsletter This past year was an exciting one of building capacity to improve our service to you. This newsletter will touch on several of the following highlights:
- Rolled out Manager Forums and Enhancements plan to provide new functionality each year without districts having to budget extra for every upgrade.
- Created Account Manager position (Karen Turner) to improve communications and speed up support issue resolutions.
- Hired two additional support staff for PRM and OPS (Dianne Barker and Dylan Richardson) to provide faster response and more trainer availability.
- •Added full-time web-based Knowledge Centre developer (Teresa Beere Johnson) to help you get answers faster without always needing to call the support line.
- Created a 15 station testing lab and hired testing staff (Kristin Thu) to reduce errors and improve reliability regardless of chosen web browser.
- Created Hosted Solutions so districts can get all our solutions for a single price without the need to buy their own servers.
- Hired full-time technical installer (Alan Bailward) to speed up product installs.
We have to thank our dedicated staff who worked tirelessly to roll out these initiatives and train new resources on top of their normal (and growing) workload. Without their commitment and passion for their work, we couldn’t have embarked on this journey of continuous service improvement!
On the development front, we spent most of the past year fi nishing the three Report Writers (Payroll, Personnel, and Finance), testing web browser compatibility, evaluating a new (optional) web based procurement suite, and completing Manager Forum enhancements. Many thanks to the districts who signed up for these solutions early in their development phase. Your support really helped us get the job done and we know products like the report writers will help you extract tremendous value from your data. Looking forward, TSC will be focusing extra attention on transformational solutions like workflow, electronic forms, scanning, web portal interoperability, and web services. As always, your input is essential to helping us focus on the right priorities and we welcome your feedback and suggestions. | Posted on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 (Archive on Wednesday, September 28, 2005) Posted by Contributed by
