Payroll (OPS) Mercer Extract

TSC has reviewed the most current requirements for the Ministry of Education's actuarial
valuation. The Actuarial Valuation of Post Employment Benefits being done by the Mercer
Human Resource Consulting ("Mercer") on behalf of the Ministry does have some different
requirements from the 'Mercer Extract' previously run and current listed as Year End Benefit
Liability Extraction under Appendix AC of the OPS manual. TSC will be making the necessary enhancements to this process and distribute this procedure to all BC customers well before the August 31st 2006 deadline. If you have any questions, please direct your inquires to Susan Vernon.

Please note we are referring to the revisions to the Census Data Requirements for October
2006. We will not be including the Retiree Experience Data Collection in this enhancement.
