TSC ANNOUNCEMENT – March 2006
Every year TSC attempts to strike a delicate balance between the increasing costs of maintaining our software and the service levels provided to our customers. In recent years, more than ever, this challenge has been tested. In our market area, the economy is more robust than at any time over the last two decades. Over the course of the last year, we have heard very clearly from our customers that TSC should strive to control the level of future maintenance costs while not impacting service levels. If we are to continue providing the levels of service that our customers demand, our costs must also keep pace with that thriving economy. In that regard we are announcing that our maintenance costs, effective July 1, 2006 will be increasing by an average of 5.4%.
As a progressive company, TSC believes in the process of continual improvement. For TSC, the goal is to provide the best possible service at prices our customers can afford. As a part of managing our maintenance fees, TSC has recently undergone some staffing modifications and we have restructured workloads accordingly. We pride ourselves in being nimble and we are working very diligently during this transition to keep on top of all your outstanding issues. However, should you experience any frustrations with our service over the next few months, we not only ask for your patience, but more importantly we ask that you to let us know. In addition, due to the overwhelming response from our customer community, we wish to announce that TSC will continue to support our existing Purchasing Suite (POM, WIS, and ATS) for the foreseeable future. This decision to continue support for the Purchasing Suite will not alter our eSchoolMall offering. It just means that our customers will continue to have the choice of both products. Please note that future enhancements to this purchasing suite will only be possible if funded by the districts initiating the requests.
Regarding eSchoolMall, please be conscious of the July 1st deadline. TSC and eSchoolMall will credit you up to $20,000 for setup. This is a great offer and we want as many of our customers to take advantage of this as possible. We have 3 customers that have given us verbal confirmation of their intent on being the first to have eSchoolMall installed! Feel free to contact Roxanne Burton for futher eSchoolMall information.
